You are going to sleep, with the rapture in your head. Close your eyes. Cast out the demons...go. Drift in the sand to adjacent lands, with pounding hands.
I've died so many times with my eyes closed. When will my mind, believe the tragedy at hand. I can feel my soul, burning below.

Tied in a Knot
02:45
|
|||
Life's gone and I'm wasted. Life's gone I can't take it. Loose ends wasted, noose ends I can't take it no more. No no no
The noose loosened my patience. The news wasn't quite advantageous.
The noose loosened my patience. The news wasn't quite advantageous.
Loosed ends wasted, noose ends I can't take it no more!
And I don't know how I feel, about you and me, right now.
And I don't know how I feel, about you and me, right now.
Cause I'm tied in a knot right now, tied in a knot right now, tied in a knot right now.
I'm tied.

And Still I Wait...
03:13
|

Daylight has come and gone, but still you've had enough. Why is everyone alive except you? So... Say to me, you've had enough. Dig yourself out of the ground, then come and stand by me. We'll watch the festival role by. In the night down on 1st street the procession is marching and I'm feeling fine... though no help from you. I've lost my sentimental mind.
I've been so distraught and lonely since I was a boy, tiny and defenseless. All the streets are dark and empty, the procession stopped marching, and I've ended up here next to you once again. Beside aunt Polly, Grandma Jane and Uncle Lewis, I've been here before. Past the trampled flowers, behind the woman and her baby, and all the old names that have rubbed off with age.

Glow
05:09
|

They said to me, "What happened?" cringe on my face, terrible disaster.
But, oh, in my mind, I'm away. Hidden undertones. Though, in the light of the day, I've struggled before.
Out in the streets I hear laughter, inside my brain, it registers as clamor. But oh, in my mind I'm away. Hidden undertones. Though in the light of the day, I've struggled before.
Listen to the ever-after at my door. Low, you see me there, Hi, I'm yours.
Discord in spite of me. Clattering, clinking, confusion scatters the street but the cracks lead to my feet!
Though you can try, again. Do you really think so?
I do cause I know, there's a glow, flickering under your coat.
Don't really wanna live forever...alone.
Low, you see me there, climbing out! Like a phoenix burning out of this shell. You see me there? Climbing out? Laying waste to this cell!
Listen, now it's time, glow!
Listen, now it's time, glow! Glow! Glow!

Gimmee the Beat

Gimme the beat back to my soul. Gimmee a lead on the way. Gimmee a path that I know. Gimmee a light that will guide my way. (x2) Long gone
Gimme the beat back to my soul. Gimmee a lead on the way. Gimmee a path that I know. Gimmee a light that will guide my way. (x2) Long gone
Cause I'm running down, running down, running down this road. Running down, running down, I'm run down. (x2)
Gimme the beat back to my soul. Gimmee a lead on the way. Gimmee a path that I know. Gimmee a light that will guide my way. (x2) long gone
Cause I'm running down, running down, running down this road. Running down, running down, I'm run down. (x2)
This wave came over me. I saw the high-beams, that threw me over that bridges edge. As I sank slowly, I noticed a four-leaf clover float past my head. The ocean's so deep. A liar once told me he'd seen the murky depths. But I know I'll be the 1st person to see, briefly what lies there.

Hightide
02:49
|

Drive me to the edge of insanity. You've lost me up to now. Dirt roads pave the way for silence or sanity. We'll be there sure enough.
Hightide! On riverside. Strange days, began to rise.
Tired men seek the light of heaven, but tragedy is bound to be found out.
Blue skies fool the mind to think of happy endings. But your but rots and stuff.
My Hammer's hand, will win this land. Sheer strength and might, will be last to stand.
Several years we've been walking. Showing no signs of where were going. Rolling over like trains blowing southward. We've resurrected our spurs and gone out for a lynching tonight.
In life we'll have to choose one or the other. And hope that our choice may be sound. But we fell asleep in the rise of the arms. And no one will hear you now.

Bury your Cat
02:29
|
|||
I'm gonna bury your cat. In a shallow grave, next to your picnic table.
Cause I'm feeling low today, because on my lunch tray, I found your letter.
You wrote me, and said you really hated me. My dad's a hog, my mother is a chimpanzee... Where's your sympathy?
Now I have changed my mind. I'll bury your cat in the flowerbed where we planted roses last week. They'll grow real tall, feeding of Tuna's rotting skull. I hope you don't mind I took his jaw for a keepsake. Now I'm done burying your cat. So maybe I'll let you win next time, because when I take yours, I still lose my marbles.
